Chalet Amidst the Mountains was captured in Gimmelwald, our favourite little village in Switzerland. It’s a tiny, car-free village tucked into the mountains, and everything about it feels quiet, remote and exactly how you hope Switzerland will feel.
We were walking down towards the main part of the village later in the afternoon when we looked off to the side and saw this little chalet sitting on such a steep green hillside. The layers work so well together. The lush grass in the foreground, the traditional Swiss chalet sitting almost impossibly on the slope, and then that huge mountain peak rising behind it.
For us, this photograph captures Gimmelwald perfectly. Fresh mountain air, almost complete silence and that feeling of being somewhere completely removed from everyday life. It’s hard to imagine this scene belonging anywhere else. It just feels unmistakably Switzerland.
Printed using archival giclée inks and framed in sustainably sourced Victorian oak timber, this piece arrives ready to hang. Available in five sizes from A4 to A0, with your choice of a black, white or natural oak finish.

In the unlikely circumstance that your order arrives damaged, please reach out to us within three days of receiving your delivery. Please email us clear photographs of the damage to shop@ltpco.com.au. Once the damage has been verified, we will happily arrange a replacement to be sent back to you.
As all artwork is hand made to order, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges due to change of mind.
To avoid any disappointment, please ensure your shipping address is entered correctly, as we cannot replace or refund orders lost due to incorrect details.

How long will my artwork take to be made and delivered?
Please allow:
- Production: approximately 5-6 business days
- Shipping: approximately 3-10 business days from dispatch. Timeframes vary depending on location. You will receive an email confirmation at time of dispatch.

Do the listed measurements include the frame and white border?
All listed measurements refer to the overall print size, inclusive of the white border.
When framed, allow approximately an additional 4cm overall for the finished framed size.
This ensures the dimensions shown on each product page accurately reflect what you can expect to receive.
Can I return or exchange my artwork if I change my mind?
As each artwork is custom made to order, we’re unable to offer returns or exchanges for change of mind.
That said, if there is an issue with your order, please reach out, we’re always happy to help where we can.
