Framing Details
Our frames are made from sustainably sourced timber and finished in your choice of Matte White, Natural Oak or Matte Black.
Choose between our Classic Frame for a clean, timeless finish, or our Shadow Box Frame for added depth and separation around the artwork.
Framed pieces are finished with UV-resistant acrylic glazing and a 5 mm acid-free adhesive foamcore backing, then supplied ready to hang.
- Small, Medium and Large use our standard frame profile, approximately 2 cm wide × 4 cm deep.
- Feature, Statement and Monument use our XL frame profile, approximately 3 cm wide × 4.5 cm deep.
The listed print dimensions do not include the frame. Framing adds approximately 4 cm to the overall width and height for Small, Medium and Large, and approximately 6 cm for Feature, Statement and Monument.
Small to Feature pieces are fitted with a professionally tensioned hanging cord. Statement and Monument pieces use dual D-ring hanging points.

The story
Behind the Photograph
We captured Swiss Village Living because this little winding path through Gimmelwald felt almost too perfect to be real.
The bright green hillside, timber chalets and enormous mountain backdrop all come together in a way that feels straight out of a storybook. This is more of the village side of Gimmelwald, but what we loved was how even here, surrounded by homes, the place still felt incredibly remote. Chalet Amidst the Mountains was actually captured just off to the right of this frame, which gives you an idea of how quickly the village disappears back into the landscape.
We photographed this at around 5:30 in the afternoon, when everything had become almost completely still. There was barely a breeze, just the sound of birds nearby and this warm, peaceful feeling through the village. For us, Gimmelwald never felt like somewhere designed to be visited. It felt like a genuine mountain village where people simply live among this incredible scenery, and that’s exactly what we wanted this photograph to capture.
Photographs from the places we experience together, made to bring a piece of them home.
